Who is Voyager?

Voyager is a U.S. based dog food company founded in Battle Creek, Mi. They are on a mission to create a healthy, copper free diet that gives dogs what they need, and none of what they don’t.

Their need for creative media

Voyager approached us in the early stages of their brand. They were a young company that was building momentum, and had all the right tools, but were stuck on how to begin sharing their story, and building more meaningful connections with their consumers.

How we approached their goals

After taking the time to learn their story, their brand, and their goals, we got to work.

We put together a month to month creative strategy to begin establishing their presence, and building meaningful connections with their audience.

Beginning the creative process

We first started with organic creative short form video across their social platforms. Rather than just pushing a product, we knew in order for true relationships to be formed, Voyager needed to begin providing value through their content.

We did this through creating consistent educational, helpful, and entertaining content.

This content not only allowed Voyager to provide value, but it allowed consumers to begin creating connections with the people at Voyager.

As the year progressed and Voyager began to see continued growth through engagement and following, we began to expand into new creative projects for the brand.

Voyager is a brand that has strong core values at its foundation, this is something that we saw was to show consumers through creative video.

We decided to begin telling stories of different Voyager consumers that embodied the brands core values, and had valuable stories to tell. We headed down to Dallas, Texas to begin the new series “Voyager Tales”.

This new addition to Voyagers creative arsenal has been an essential piece of content for new consumers discovering the brand. It has helped to build an emotional connection to the brand and their mission.

Strategy Evolution

A year of creation

After putting forth our creative strategy for Voyager for over a year now, the results have been amazing.

Voyager has over tripled their following on all of their social platforms, and is continuing to see growth in their engagement as a whole. We have aided in them now being able to put forth an effective email strategy that is aided by their social following, helping convert their audience into consumers.

Voyager saw a 5% month over month growth average over the course of the year, over doubling their previous year’s revenue.

Looking forward

We are now strategizing with Voyager for the coming year, looking to add even more to their creative arsenal. Through new YouTube series and branded informational graphics for their socials, we are ready to help take Voyager to the next level, and have another record year.

    Dr. Pete, The founder of Voyager, is a Vet of over 40 years. Pete’s whiteboard sessions are where he educates consumers on all different topics surrounding veterinary.

  • At The Clinic With Dr. Pete

    At the clinic with Dr. Pete is a series we did with the founder of Voyager Pete VanVranken. This series helped give consumers an inside look at Pete’s practice and daily experience at the clinic.

  • Jack The Sleeper | Voyager Tales

    Jack the sleeper is a popular “dogfluencer” on social media that is an active advocate for the Voyager brand. We told Jacks amazing story of adoption and life changing results from the Voyager food for consumers to see.
